The most NATURAL BROWS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. That’s the whole point.

Nano Realism Brows are the signature service at Haven Beauty Collective, and the technique that sets this studio apart from every other brow artist in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. Developed and refined over years of hands-on work, this machine-based approach uses an ultra-fine needle to place individual hair strokes with a level of precision that microblading simply cannot match. The result looks and feels indistinguishable from your own brows, because the work is mapped entirely around them.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?

This is not microblading.
This is something better.

Nano Realism Brows are the signature service at Haven Beauty Collective, and the technique that sets this studio apart from every other brow artist in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. This machine-based approach uses an ultra-fine needle to place individual hair strokes with a level of precision that microblading simply cannot match. The result looks and feels indistinguishable from your own brows, because every single stroke is mapped entirely around them.

Unlike microblading, Nano Realism Brows are genuinely suitable for every skin type, including oily skin, mature skin, and clients who have been told they are not good candidates for traditional brow work. Results typically last two to four years before a Colorboost touch-up, making this one of the longest-lasting brow techniques available anywhere in the Twin Cities area.

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE NANO REALISM

Four reasons this technique
stands apart.

01
Every Skin Type

Works for oily, dry, sensitive, and mature skin — including skin types that are not good candidates for microblading.

02
Machine Precision

An ultra-fine needle places each stroke at a consistent depth and angle that a manual blade simply cannot replicate.

03
Hand-Mapped Strokes

Every stroke follows the exact direction, thickness, and spacing of your natural brow hairs — not a template.

04
Lasts 2 to 4 Years

Significantly longer than microblading on most skin types, with softer, more natural healing and less skin trauma.

THE PROCESS

What to expect
at your appointment.

Every Nano Realism Brows appointment at Haven begins with a thorough consultation. Your artist will look at your natural brow pattern, assess your skin type, and map your brow shape before any pigment is applied. This mapping step is not a formality — it is the foundation of the entire result, and it takes as long as it needs to.

Once the shape is confirmed and you are happy with it, a topical numbing cream is applied and left on long enough to take full effect. The brow work itself typically takes one to two hours. Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure rather than discomfort.

A touch-up appointment is scheduled four to eight weeks after your initial session to refine the healed result. This is a standard part of the process and is included in the initial service pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nano realism brows typically last 2 to 4 years before a Colorboost touch-up is recommended, depending on your skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare routine. Oily skin types may fade slightly faster.

  • Microblading uses a manual hand tool to draw hair strokes into the skin, while Nano Realism Brows use a fine machine needle that deposits pigment with more precision and less trauma to the skin. The machine technique tends to produce softer, longer-lasting results and works well for all skin types — including oily skin, which is not always a good candidate for microblading. At Haven, our Nano Realism technique is also customized at a level most studios do not offer, because each stroke is individually placed to match your natural brow pattern.

  • Nano realism brow pricing at Haven Beauty Collective varies based on service type and artist. Book a consultation to discuss pricing and find the right brow service for your needs.

  • Most clients are surprised by how comfortable the experience is. A topical numbing cream is applied before your appointment and left on long enough to take full effect. During the service, most people describe the sensation as light pressure or scratching rather than pain. If you are particularly sensitive, let your artist know at the start of your appointment and they will work with you.

  • It depends on how much old pigment is still in the skin. In many cases, yes — if your old work has faded enough, we can work right over it or alongside it. If the previous pigment is still too saturated or has shifted to an ashy tone, a few laser removal sessions first will give you a much cleaner result. We offer laser brow removal at Haven and can assess whether it is necessary during your consultation.
